Climate: Discuss the future of our environment on March 5!
Laimgrubengasse 10, 1060 Wien, Österreich - The ORF starts a new series that is under the motto "Climate (w) end" and is dedicated to pressing questions about climate policy. The first edition will take place on Wednesday, March 5, at 7:00 p.m. in the ORF Radioculture House, moderated by journalist Mariella Gittler. The guests of the kick -off event include social researchers Christoph Hofinger, ecologist Monika Langthaler and Karl Ochsner, managing director of the largest domestic heat pump producer. In the newly introduced survey "ORF asks", the ORF mobilized over 90,000 participants within three weeks in order to record attitudes on everyday topics. General Director Roland Weißmann is enthusiastic about the high level of participation, which he interprets as a strong order for ORF. The central results of this survey will be presented on Wednesday, March 20, at 9:05 p.m. on the program "ORF 1 Special: How is Austria? ORF asks" by Mariella Gittler. These initiatives are part of a comprehensive dialogue offensive of the ORF, with the aim of intensifying contact with the Austrian population. The survey is scientifically accompanied by the renowned opinion research institute Integral, which has already started to evaluate the answers received. The results are published on television and on the project website to reach a general public and to map the opinions of the citizens.
