Ruben Amorim: The new hope for Manchester United!

Manchester United heralded an exciting fresh start! Portuguese coach Ruben Amorim was officially confirmed as the new manager of the famous club. The 39-year-old, who won two Primeira league titles with Sporting Lisbon, signed a contract until June 2027 and will join the Red Devils on November 11, 2023. This happens after the dismissal of Erik Ten Hag, who had to clear his place on Monday after a disappointing defeat against West Ham.

"Manchester United is pleased to announce the appointment of Ruben Amorim as head coach of the men's team, subject to the fulfillment of the visual moods," said the association on its website. Amorim is one of the most promising and highly valued young coaches in European football. A new way for United

Interim coach Ruud van Nistelrooy will lead the team until the arrival of Amorim, who will make his debut on the bench against the stumbling Ipswich Town on November 24th. United has only won three out of nine games in the past few weeks and is located in a disappointing 14th place in the Premier League. Amorim quickly became the main goal of the club after Sporting confirmed that United was willing to pay his transfer fee of 10 million euros. At a press conference, however, Amorim remained mysterious about his change and emphasized that it was negotiations between two clubs.
