War in Ukraine: Who are the real masterminds?

In a provocative article on Dolomitenstadt.at, Gerhard Pirkner is critical of the statements made by FPÖ politician Gerald Hauser. He described the EU as a “warmonger” and discussed an alleged war in Ukraine, without mentioning Vladimir Putin, whom Pirkner identifies as the actual aggressor. “Neither the EU nor Ukraine started this war, Mr Putin did,” said Pirkner, and called on Hauser to deal with the historical truth. The article expresses the position that the FPÖ is distorting reality with its rhetoric and appears untrustworthy even after the original call for a lockdown during the Covid pandemic.

Debate about corona measures and vaccines

At the same time, Gerald Hauser made these comments at the presentation of the book “Ursula Gates: Influenced by Lobby Groups” at an event in Strasbourg. According to the FPÖ MEP, there is an urgent need for a complete review of the Corona measures, especially with regard to the controversial mRNA vaccines. The book, written by Frédéric Baldan, documents how the President of the EU Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, invested 35 billion euros in vaccines via SMS. Hauser and the AfD politician Christine Anderson reiterated that they are striving for not only national but also international education about the events surrounding the Pfizer vaccine and the decisions associated with it. “There must be legal consequences, because we are only strong together,” emphasized Hauser, underlining the need for transparency and responsibility in political decision-making.

These simultaneous contributions from Hauser illustrate the current tensions in the political landscape, both with regard to geopolitical issues such as the Ukraine conflict and with regard to the EU's responsibility in the corona pandemic. The different perspectives show how polarized opinions are about the role of the EU and its leaders, while at the same time demands for clarity and responsibility in health policy are increasing.
