Imperial citizens from Nordhausen extort bailiffs - 1,500 euros punishment!
In a dramatic case of extortion, the district court of Nordhausen condemned a so-called imperial citizen! The man from Waffleben was sentenced to a fine of 1,500 euros after sent a bailiff several letters with payment requests. This was done in the context of an enforcement command that he simply wanted to ignore.
As reported by the "Thuringian Allgemeine", the imperial citizen refused to recognize the bailiff's office in his front door. Instead, he went to attack and asked for delighted payments in his letters. The court has now set a clear sign, but the judgment is not yet final - the story could go on!
Monvement threats!
This incident throws a bright light on the activities of imperial citizens, which often question the legitimacy of state institutions. The defendant's letters are not only an example of his aversion to the law, but also a shocking indication of the methods with which such groups act. The authorities must remain vigilant!
