Blue-yellow-white Christmas: Jena Ultras collect for those in need!
Jena. The fans of FC Carl Zeiss Jena are once again showing their big hearts: Under the motto “Blue-yellow-white Christmas”, the Ultras group is launching an impressive collection campaign to bring joy to children in need in the run-up to Christmas.
Since 2020, the supporters of the Südkurve have been committed to social institutions and are relying on monetary donations this year to specifically support projects that urgently need help. “This year we are relying entirely on monetary donations,” explains Toni Schley from Südkurve. “We will use these to make targeted purchases and donate them to a variety of projects that would otherwise receive less support.” The fundraiser aims to help those who need it most.
Support for local institutions
The funds collected will benefit various institutions in the catchment area of FC Carl Zeiss Jena. These include the Lindwurm children's leisure center in Apolda, the Dark Angel paw rescue center, the Jena women's shelter, the animal shelter in Eisenberg and the Tafel in Eisenberg. The initiators plan to announce further supported projects in the coming weeks.
The Ultras are hoping for the support of many FCC fans and are announcing a large fundraising effort at the home game against BSG Chemie Leipzig. This will take place on Saturday, November 30th, in the Ernst-Abbe-Sportfeld (kick-off at 4 p.m.). If you would like to support the campaign now, you can find the contact details for bank transfers or Paypal in the Horda Azzuro appeal for donations. In recent years, the active fans of FC Carl Zeiss Jena have distributed thousands of gifts in the region and have worked extensively for the good cause.
