Fools storm town halls in the Gotha district: Carnival is starting!
Gotha district.The fifth season is just around the corner, and the fools in the Gotha district are ready to storm the town halls! The spectacle begins on November 11th at 11:11 a.m. in Waltershausen, where the carnival gymnasts want to take over the town hall. For the first time, it is not Michael Brychcy, but his successor Leon Graupner who will hand over the town hall key. The tension is high because the new mayor is excited about what awaits him. With a new couple of princes and half a hundred carnival participants, it will be an unforgettable start to the season.
The fools in Tambach-Dietharz are also looking forward to November 11th. At 11:11 a.m. the town hall is to be stormed and the key for the foolish season is to be taken over. On November 16th, the Tambach carnival club opens its 57th season with the presentation of the new prince couple in the community center. Things are also getting crazy in Dachwig: The carnival club invites you to the country inn “Zur Tanne” on November 11th to start the season with a hearty “Helau”. On November 15th, Anke Geißler from the Academixers will provide entertainment in the community hall.
Anniversaries and key handovers
A special highlight awaits the fools in Wandersleben, where the Wanderslebener Narren Club is celebrating its 70th anniversary. The accession to the throne will take place on November 16th in the community center, and every eleventh guest will receive a free drink. In Friedrichroda and Finsterbergen, the fools storm the town halls on the same day to ring in the new season with song and dance. The Finsterberger Jecken open the evening with the motto “Such a theater…” and foolish shows.
In Schönau vor dem Walde, the storm on the municipal administration begins on November 11th at 6:11 p.m., accompanied by stick bread and marshmallows. The FCV in Friemar also starts on November 11th with a youth carnival on November 15th. The Catterfeld carnivalists will present their politically topical motto “Now have the salad” on November 16th in the multi-purpose hall.
Big parades and parties
The 2025 district carnival parade in Ohrdruf promises to be the largest carnival party in the district. After the storming of the town hall on November 16th, there will be an 80s party in the Goldberghalle. The new prince couple will be crowned in Schwabhausen on November 15th, and guests can look forward to Italian surprises. The Wechmar carnivalists start their 51st session on November 16th, while the Seebergers start their flickering hours in the beer garden of the community tavern.
