dance courses and new possibilities

The district music school also has great news in other areas! Dance courses have been revived and now offer free places for everyone who is interested in modern dance or classic ballet. "But there are also vacancies in the area of saxophone, clarinet and flute," added Kummer. The “campfire guitar”, which is a long -running favorite with young and old, remains particularly popular.

The music school director looks optimistically into the future. In addition to musical training, she would like to further promote the scenic music interpretation. A highlight could be the 30th anniversary of the music school in 2026, in which a stage play such as "The Nutcracker" may be performed. 545 children and adolescents are currently visiting the district music school, and the tickets for the annual concert are available online or at the cash register in the Gothaer Kunstforum.
