The CERATONIA Volleys Eltmann volleyball team suffered a bitterly unnecessary defeat in the last game of 2024 in Kriftel. Despite a promising 2-0 lead and the chance to end the year with a win, they squandered the lead in the decisive tie-break. The game started strongly for Eltmann, who won two sets in a row thanks to the support of their many fans. But after a dominant start, the team gradually sank into mistakes and misunderstandings. In the third set, Kriftel's coach brought his players back into the game with a tactical change. Eltmann's performance dropped noticeably from the middle of the third set, which the home team took full advantage of. “I have rarely experienced something so unnecessary and pointless,” said captain Engel, expressing his disappointment after the game volleyball.bayern documented. Christmas break after the defeat
