Therme Bad Dürkheim: Costs increase to shocking 44.8 million euros!

The Dürkheim thermal bath is becoming more expensive than expected! How Rhine Palatinate reports, the entire cost estimate is now a whopping 44.8 million euros. This new sum already includes a financial buffer and has increased greatly compared to previous estimates that were 4.3 million euros. This increase of almost half a million euros was incurred by building delays and additional costs such as 75,000 euros for scaffolding as well as unexpected expenses for the insulation of the roof and sound insulation measures. Stadtwerke boss Peter Kistenmacher reported in the city council that so far 31 million euros have been billed, while the exact financial details about conversion measures and new heating systems still have to be clarified.

Planning and opening
