The Los Angeles Lakers are on an impressive winning streak and are in top form in the NBA! With a narrow 104:99 win against the New Orleans Pelicans, they clinched their fifth win in a row. Stars LeBron James and Anthony Davis lead the team, while the Lakers are undisputed in the Western Conference. Only the Cleveland Cavaliers, who are still undefeated after 14 games, can match this performance.
Anthony Davis shone with 31 points and 14 rebounds, while LeBron James contributed 21 points and 7 rebounds. Another bright spot was NBA rookie Dalton Knecht, who played from the start and scored a strong 27 points. On the Pelicans side, Brandon Ingram was the top scorer with 32 points, but world champion Daniel Theis was once again unused.
The Lakers on the rise
In the Western Conference table, the Lakers are in fourth place after 13 games, behind the Oklahoma City Thunder, Golden State Warriors and Houston Rockets.
