This popular thermal bath is now receiving a huge grant of 11.7 million euros, provided by the federal and free state. A real stroke of luck for the region, as the Ministry of Economics, Labor and Transport proudly announces!

With this money, the thermal bath is not only renovated, but also on a new level! The outdoor pools are enlarged, the water treatment receives an urgently needed update and a modern photovoltaic system is installed. The total costs for this ambitious project amount to 14.2 million euros, which means an impressive grant of 82.5 percent. A clear proof that the future of the silver thermal baths is in the best hands!

The silver thermal bath was opened 24 years ago and has continuously gained popularity since then. Economic Minister Martin Dulig (50, SPD) emphasizes: "The silver thermal bath is a nationally known spa and thus a tourist landmark in the Ore Mountains." With this funding, not only the thermal bath itself is upgraded, but also the tourist offer of the region significantly strengthened. The anticipation for the upcoming changes is huge!
