An exciting weekend is imminent! The day of children's gymnastics is celebrated in Saarland, and numerous clubs invite the little athletes to try them out and discover their enthusiasm for movement. From November 8th to 10th there are exciting actions on the program to encourage children to become active and find fun in sport.

A total of 23 clubs in Saarland take part in this colorful event, which is part of a nationwide initiative. The small participants can look forward to a diverse offer that ranges from circus games to motor challenges. For example, the children can immerse yourself in the fascinating world of the circus on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Saarbrücken-Gersweiler in Saarbrücken-Gersweiler. Here they learn playfully how to juggle or balance on devices - a perfect opportunity to develop motor skills such as jumping, running and throwing.

also on Saturday at TuS Bliesransbach from 1.30pm to 5pm and on Sunday at the Geislautern gymnastics club from 11:00 a.m. to 2 p.m. The website of the German Turner Association provides an overview of all participating clubs and their offers.

Esther Simon, trainer and passionate supporter of the children's gymnastics, emphasizes the importance of this initiative: "It is about finding the children fun with movement and at the same time promoting their motor skills. For many, children's gymnastics is the first step into a lifelong love for sport." Many children who start with children's gymnastics continue their sporting trip later in other disciplines, be it gymnastics, badminton or football.
