Fast-paced chase on the A3: aggressor escapes the police!

A wild driver caused chaos on the A3 between Neuwied and Limburg on Wednesday evening! The man, who was driving a van, not only endangered other road users, but also challenged the police. He first stopped another driver in the left lane, got out and hit the side mirror before attacking the driver through the open window. A brutal spectacle that was repeated once again on the shoulder!

Chase at over 200 km/h!

When the police intervened, the driver was already on the run! He sped away at breakneck speeds of over 200 km/h, ignoring several stop signals. The chase turned into a nightmare on the motorway when the driver carried out risky overtaking maneuvers in the middle and right lanes, which led to two accidents - luckily there was only sheet metal damage!

Despite the dramatic effort, the aggressive driver was able to escape. But the police have already recorded the license plate number of the vehicle from Erfurt and are now determining who was behind the wheel. Criminal proceedings were initiated against the fugitive for bodily harm, fleeing a traffic accident, coercion, endangering road traffic and a prohibited motor vehicle race. A case that heats up emotions and raises the question: How can something like this happen on our streets?
