Eckernförde.A breathtaking chase drama unfolded on Monday evening on the B 203 when the police chased a drunk driver as he fled! The driver, a 34-year-old, was speeding at an incredible 200 kilometers per hour in a white Mercedes after officers tried to stop him because of a broken headlight. But instead of braking, the driver accelerated and overtook several vehicles, which only made the situation even more dangerous!

The pursuit took a dramatic turn when the Mercedes lost control on the entrance to the A7 in Büdelsdorf and the driver left his 21-year-old passenger behind at the scene of the accident. Despite the shock and danger he caused, he fled on foot but was quickly caught by police. Fortunately, both the driver and his companion remained uninjured - a small miracle considering the high-speed pursuit!

Driver without lights and without a license!

During the arrest, the police discovered that the getaway driver did not have a valid driver's license and was under the influence of drugs and alcohol!
