Almost four years ago, the 46-year-old was diagnosed with the autoimmune disease Bechterew's disease, which she suspected, but was not recognized for a long time. This health challenge meant that it dealt more intensively with alternative healing methods.

Both practitioners emphasize the individual consideration of their clients' health. Ruppio explains: "Diseases affect the whole body and have a variety of causes. We are working to identify and tackle them."

"We work hand in hand with doctors and recommend our clients to first go into medical hands with certain symptoms," says Pape. Ruppio adds: "We cannot make a promise of healing and will never do so. Our approach is complementary."

downside: there are reservations about alternative healing methods that are often considered less effective. "Some of our clients have already made progress through naturopathic treatments," she reports. One example is a patient with a skin disease who previously suffered from a heavy metal load.
