In an impressive setting at the Austrian Skibob Championships on Glungezer, which took place from December 13th to 15th, 2024, athletes from Tyrol delivered outstanding performances. Particularly notable was the young talent Iris Lienhard from SBC Wiener Neustadt, who won four gold medals in four different competitions. With a gap of almost 18 seconds, she triumphed in the combination and left her competitors behind, while she also celebrated confident victories in the slalom and giant slalom NOEN reported.

It was a golden night for the Tyrolean team: the athletes won a total of 19 medals and thus secured a crossroads of successes in various age groups. Martin Gastl from SBC Raika Münster won two medals - a silver in the Super-G and a bronze in the combination - and thus demonstrated his versatility. His club colleague Harald Auer also brought home a bronze medal in the slalom. The overall strong record of the Tyroleans gives hope for a promising season, which the participants were inspired by the atmosphere of the competition MyDistrict held on, can only reinforce it.

The medal table of the Austrian championships shows an impressive dominance of the Tyrolean athletes. Martin Gastl and Harald Auer secured all four competitions in their age groups. The overall balance for Tyrol included eight gold, six silver and five bronze medals. Such successes have only been achieved through hard training and tireless effort, which motivates competitors to continue achieving excellence.
