CLEVE.The Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences in Kleve is opening an exciting opportunity for citizens to take part in regular lectures and courses in the 2024/25 winter semester. This form of guest auditorship is open to anyone interested, regardless of whether they have a university entrance qualification or not. It is an excellent opportunity to gain knowledge in a variety of disciplines, with events offered in both German and English.

The diverse offerings of the Faculty of Technology and Bionics are particularly exciting. In addition to classic subjects such as physics and chemistry, modern topics such as electrical engineering and business administration are also covered here. The lectures are exclusively in English, which represents an exciting challenge for non-German-speaking participants. Inquiries can be directed directly to the faculty, as there are no longer any public programs due to necessary restructuring. Instead, interested parties receive support in selecting suitable lectures to ensure they get the most out of their visit.

Offers from the faculties

The Faculty of Life Sciences also offers exciting content. Topics such as microbiology and environmental chemistry are on the curriculum here, and information is also provided about agricultural technology and agricultural economics. The breadth of topics shows how important interdisciplinary learning is at this university.

Another highlight is the Faculty of Society and Economics. This faculty focuses on business-related lectures such as corporate law or social responsibility. In addition, topics from domestic and international politics as well as sustainable tourism that are particularly relevant today are also addressed.

Registration for guest auditorship is done via the university's student service. The price for the listener card is 100 euros, which applies to all open lectures in the winter semester from October to January. A small investment for a wide range of knowledge!

In addition to the academic offerings, university sports opens its doors to visiting students. In the sports area you can take part in courses such as Zumba, yoga, volleyball and many others. Registration options are flexible. Those interested can choose between an individual course, the price of which is between 25 and 50 euros per semester, or a flat rate for 60 euros, which gives access to almost all sports offerings during the winter semester.
