Christmas joy for children: Düren police fulfilled heart wishes!
The Düren police are once again bringing Christmas joy to children from women's shelves in the region with their Angel campaign. The district police authority Düren has been organizing this important initiative since 2023, which enables children to capture their wishes on desired notes. Thanks to the great commitment of the employees, around 60 gifts were collected this year, which are now being distributed at various women's shelters on time before Christmas. The goal of this wonderful action is to give children a piece of normality in difficult life situations and to put a smile on their face by fulfilling their Christmas wishes. As the Heinsberg magazine thanks the police Düren who would like to support this campaign.

In addition to this initiative, the Angel of the Evangelical parish of Baesweiler has also existed for many years. Here needy children can capture their Christmas wishes on lovingly designed desired notes. A colleague from the Düren police is co -organizer of this touching project. Last year, the police decided to take up this tradition and also delight children from women's shelters with gifts. This year, over 80 gifts came together, which, as in the ad-hoc news , are already distributed to the corresponding houses.
