Mettmann's horror house: A Halloween spectacle for the whole family!
Krumbach, Mettmann, Deutschland - Mettmann is in Halloween fever! Maurice Giebisch, a passionate creepy fan, has transformed his parents' house into an eerie creepy house that captivates the visitors until November 1st. The 21-year-old has invested his savings in impressive decorations, including a fog machine and scary lights to create the perfect atmosphere.
Maurice, who was already involved in a creepy house in Hamm as a teenager, launched his first spooked spectacle in 2020 when the previous operator emigrated to Canada. "I just like to decorate," he says enthusiastically about his extraordinary hobby. This year he prepared a new attraction: a scary creepy labyrinth that leads the guests through eerie rooms, including a creepy doll room.
Free admission, but welcome!
The best thing about it? Entry is free! Instead, Giebisch collects donations for the "Lichtblicke" campaign, which supports needy families and children. Every Thursday to Sunday, interested people can visit the Halloween House on Krumbach in Mettmann from 7 p.m. And that's not all: after the scary festival, the decorative one plans to let his Christmas house shine in full splendor from the 1st Advent. The festive anticipation will come soon!
