The closures also have an impact on local public transport, especially on bus route 807 to Erftstadt. These buses are rerouted from Oberwichterich via the L162 and turn left onto Niederberger Straße. There you drive to the street “Am Wachbaum”, where you turn around and continue your journey towards Niederberg. During this construction work, the stops “Am Alten Bahnhof” and “Wichterich Post” cannot be reached.

These construction measures are important for long-term traffic safety and the preservation of the road infrastructure in the region.
