In the contemplative time after Christmas, visitors can still expect festive Christmas markets in many German cities. The Dreikönigsmarkt on Remigiusplatz in Bonn will remain open from December 27th to January 6th, 2025. Guests can celebrate here on New Year's Eve, but the market remains closed on New Year's Day. Opening hours are daily from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., while food stalls remain open until 10 p.m. The market is only closed from December 24th to 26th, according to information from hessenschau.de.
Another highlight is the Christmas market in Bad Hersfeld, which features an artificial ice rink and fairytale offers and continues on December 27th. The Gießen Christmas market is also held until the end of the year and offers handicrafts and typical gourmet stalls. In Offenbach, the traditional market on Aliceplatz remains open until December 29th, while the children's shooting star market in Wiesbaden delights with a wide range of offers for children until mid-January.
