Two car break-ins in Bielefeld – police are asking for information from witnesses!

Bielefeld shocked!

On Wednesday, November 13, 2024, brazen thieves struck in Bielefeld and vandalized two cars in the city center when the owners weren't looking. The police have been alerted and are urgently looking for witnesses! The car break-ins happened in the popular Bethel area, where crime is now all the rage.

At around 9:00 a.m., a Bielefeld craftsman got his tools from his parked Fiat Ducato on Zimmerstrasse, not knowing that he would become the victim of a crime just a few hours later. When he returned at 11 a.m., he found his side window smashed and his valuable backpack, full to the brim with personal items, stolen. A real shocking moment for the man!

A second case shakes the neighborhood

But that wasn't all: In another attack that took place between 3:30 p.m. and 9:45 p.m., a Fiat 500 in a parking lot on Am Zionswald Street became the target of the crooks. The perpetrators also broke in here and stole valuable personal items from the glove compartment as well as a conspicuous black bag. The audacity of these actions speaks volumes!

The police are asking the public for support. Every tip about these brazen car break-ins is worth its weight in gold! Witnesses are asked to contact the Criminal Investigation Department 33 on 0521/545-0. Nobody should have to worry about their car in Bielefeld anymore!
