In a spectacular search success, the Federal Police executed two arrest warrants! Within 24 hours, the officers managed to catch a Bulgarian and a Turk who had been targeted by the judiciary due to their criminal activities. These quick measures clearly show that the federal police are fighting back!
At around 1:00 p.m., a 56-year-old Bulgarian drove onto Autobahn 44 and encountered the federal police. Surprise! During the check, the law enforcement officers discovered an international arrest warrant from Bulgaria! He is under investigation for various property crimes and now has to spend 18 months behind Swedish curtains. The convicted man was taken into police custody in Aachen, while the Düsseldorf proceedings are now being heard further at the Aachen district court. The Bulgarian's fate is in the hands of the judges - will he stay here or go back to his homeland?
Another arrested person on the run
But that's not enough! At 5:00 p.m., a 42-year-old Turk was also not at the top of his game on Autobahn 44. He was found with an arrest warrant for driving without a license! This incorrigible man received a draconian sentence of 45 days in prison or a fine of 2,700 euros. But that's not the end of it! An additional sentence with a 12-month driving license ban acknowledged his repeated missteps. Thanks to the support of his family, he was able to pay the fine and literally continued his journey on foot! What a turn of events for these two lawbreakers!
