Attention, drivers! On November 13th, 2024, the speed is sharply monitored in Wittmund! If you don't stick to the rules, you have to expect high fines and even a temporary driving ban. There is currently only one location where racers can fall into a mobile radar trap. The police in Lower Saxony have an eye on the streets and regularly carries out speed measurements to ensure the safety in road traffic.
The mobile radar trap has been active at the Rispel (ZIP 26409 in Leerhafe) since 6:21 a.m., where a speed limit of 70 km/h applies.
