Uelzener Kinderschutzbund celebrates new well -being for families
The Uelzen Child Protection Association caused a sensation on Friday! The inauguration of the new premises was ceremoniously celebrated at Alewinstraße 13, and the anticipation was clearly noticeable. Gabriel Siller, the chairman of the Child Protection Association, beamed in bright weather and an exciting crane that swiveled across the new building. "The sky laughs with us!" He called optimistically and emphasized how important this step is for the organization, which recently moved from its previous location on the fast market.
"This is a milestone for the Child Protection Association!" Siller explained, recalling the modest beginnings in containers on Ripdorfer Straße. There were support from remarkable partners such as the Peter-Jensen Foundation from Hamburg and the Gerhard Greyer Foundation from Uelzen, which contributed to optimally equipping the new rooms. The mayor of Uelzen, Jürgen Markwardt, emphasized the importance of the Child Protection Association and emphasized that it is one of the three most important non -profit organizations in the region. As a gift, Markwardt brought a bottle of wine with them, which caused a little smile - the transition from the topic of children to alcohol is certainly delicate!
symbolism of a butterfly
The celebrations reached its peak when District Administrator Dr. Heiko Blume presented a picture of a butterfly. "The butterfly symbolizes the fragility and the great transformations that children go through," explained Blume. He described the Uelzen Child Protection Association as an indispensable "pillar of free youth welfare in the district". Around 60 and 20 volunteers look after around 60 families free of charge, and the mood in the new feel -good place is inviting. During the event, the new premises were examined, and Brigitte Maykopf from the team served coffee and cake - a truly festive welcome for young and old!
