Emden (ots)- The chaos broke off in Emden on Saturday morning! At 02:00 a.m., a strong alcoholized 42-year-old man tried to break into an apartment building in Wilhelm-Leuschner-Straße. He wanted to break up the cellar doors with all his might, but only with two doors he was successful and stole a chainsaw! The police were able to arrest the perpetrator near the crime scene by the noise cry of the neighbors. But he insulted the officials during the inception and refused an alcohol test. The damage amount is around 175 euros.
As if it weren't enough, the chaos continued! At 3:40 a.m., a 26-year-old mobbed passers-by on the street on the Delft. Despite a dismissal, he returned and was then taken into custody by the police - here too there were insulting words against the officials!
Shocking incident with e-scooters
Faster than expected, a 57-year-old wanted to steal e-scooter at 2:50 a.m.! When he dragged on the cable lock, two women switched on. The situation escalated: one of the women struck back after trying to hurt them. Slight injuries for the older gentleman were the consequences, another entry in the police officers was due!
And the traffic accidents don't stop! Two car accidents with driver flight were reported: a parked Skoda Kodiaq was damaged in Ulmenstrasse with 2000 euros damage, while in Horchstrasse there was an Opel Astra through another vehicle, also with driver escape, damage of around 2500 euros.
Last but not least, a 52-year-old cyclist was taken up in Leer with 1.9 per thousand. He insulted the officials and tried to attack them! The result? Custody with the police while he has to answer for his behavior. And a serious traffic accident in Moormerland put on the crown: two cars damaged, 25,000 euros in damage - but fortunately the drivers were unharmed. How chaotic can be a day?
