The Situation at TuS Sankt Hülfe-Hede has recently improved significantly because the association now has a full board. In an extraordinary meeting, Hendrik Wiechering was elected as the new 1st chairman. This election came into force after the previous chairman, Rainer Weghöft, had resigned and the association was unable to find a successor during the regular annual general meeting.

The meeting took place in Diepholz, where numerous members of the association were present. Around seven months ago, Janneck Bruns, who previously acted as the 2nd chairman, took over the office of the 1st chairman. However, this was not a long -term solution for the association. With the resignation of Wegöft, it was urgently needed to establish a stable leadership style.

At the meeting, two candidates were finally available for election to the office of 1st chairman: Hendrik Wiechering and Steffen Antechtrecht. Ralf Müller, who was present as the mayor, had proposed Wiechering in advance. In order to avoid controversy, the board decided on an internal meeting, according to which it became clear that the right would do without his candidacy. Wiechering was then elected without a vote against - only his own abstention did not count.

After his election, Wiechering said that he planned to actively work for the stability of his home club. With experience as a treasurer for nine years, he brings a broad horizon of experience into his new role. "All sectors are important to me. The TuS is not a pure football club," he said, which presents him as a varied and committed chair.

With the election of Wiechering as the chairman, there was an interplay within the board. Janneck Bruns announced that for professional reasons he will also leave as a 2nd chairman. In his place, Markus Ippen will now take over the position. This has been a secretary so far and therefore had to find a successor for this post. Thomas Koppesch was chosen, who from then on will take over the secretary activities.

The post of the treasurer continues to be accompanied by Jonas Berkemeyer because he was again confirmed in his office. All elections arose with the extensive consent of those present, whereby only the chosen themselves have been targeting the voice.
