Criminals smashed the net of a soccer goal on the school playground on Friesoyther Straße between November 12th, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. and November 13th, 2024 at 9:40 a.m. The Barßel police are alerted and are calling on the public to provide relevant information. Traffic chaos in Friesoythe!
On Wednesday, November 13, 2024, a shocking traffic accident occurred on Garreler Weg in Friesoythe. At around 12:25 p.m., a 41-year-old woman from Großenkneten tried to escape the chaos when a 32-year-old driver from Lastrup, who was avoiding an animal, crashed into oncoming traffic! The result? An impact that slightly injured the woman! Both damaged cars were just scrap metal - the material damage amounts to around 23,000 euros! A warning call to all drivers: keep your eyes open in traffic!

Another unfortunate turn of events on the evening of November 13th! At 8:15 p.m., a 24-year-old tractor driver from Barßel was driving his trailer on Bollinger Strasse. Suddenly: A 21-year-old car driver from Saterland realized too late that the team was traveling much slower! A heartbreaking collision that left both drivers slightly injured. The damage? Another bitter setback with around 22,000 euros! This event was a clear call for caution for all road users!
