Neustadt: Luxury patient rooms opened in the Schön Clinic!

Neustadt.In an impressive step to improve patient care, the Schön Clinic in Neustadt recently inaugurated the first of three luxurious comfort stations! After months of renovation, 24 patient rooms, a stylish lounge and the hallway areas of ward 42 now shine in new splendor. This comprehensive renovation is part of a huge investment project worth around 2.5 million euros, which the clinic itself is supporting.

The newly designed rooms offer an almost hotel-like atmosphere! Warm tones, modern 50-inch TVs and sophisticated bathrooms with rain shower heads ensure a unique stay. Patients also enjoy a breathtaking view of the Baltic Sea, which is visible from every room and the lounge. Mayor Mirko Spieckermann praised the clinic and emphasized that Neustadt is an important health location. Also Dr. Uwe Jürgens from the Ostholstein district administration paid tribute to the clinic for its continuous development over the last 30 years.

Redevelopment plans for the future

However, the Schön Clinic is not giving up! With ambitious plans, the clinic aims to modernize almost all areas of the building. The next renovations are already planned for 2025, while at the same time technical systems and rooms for outpatient care will also be brought up to date. Managing director Klaus Schmolling emphasizes the importance of these measures, not only for further medical development, but also for energetic efficiency and sustainability.
