Pirna.The crime series “WaPo Elbe” returns with new excitement! ARD has announced the broadcast date for the eagerly awaited second season: from December 3rd, viewers can look forward to eight brand-new episodes - every Tuesday at 6:50 p.m. This season comes a year late, as filming was already completed a year ago. Filming took place everywhere along the picturesque Elbe, from Pirna via Saxon Switzerland to the Czech border. Unbeatable local color is guaranteed!
The first season has already thrilled around three million viewers and secured over 15 percent market share. ARD now hopes to repeat the success with the new series. And viewers can look forward to the return of the tried and tested main cast: Carina Wiese as the resolute guard leader Maike Junghans, Adnan Maral as her committed colleague Chief Inspector Sami Fares and the other investigators Barbara Prakopenka and Ferdi Özten. These four nonstop investigators are ready to solve exciting cases!
