This recognition shows how seriously we take the protection of children's rights," emphasizes Olivier Tichit, Head of Sustainability Department at Musim Mas. With 10,700 school-aged children on its plantations, the group is committed to supporting families - from healthcare to access to educational opportunities. The schools they have built under the Anwar Karim Foundation (YAK) are gushing proof of this.

In Indonesia, Musim Mas provides 47 childcare centers, eleven kindergartens and 14 free schools for the families of its employees. In addition to scholarships for higher education, 93 of which were awarded in 2023 alone, the group also focuses on basic health services for expectant mothers, including parental leave and comprehensive pre- and postnatal care.
