Mülheim honors the best trainees: theSchauburg Foundation awards prizes!

Mülheim.A radiant celebration of talent! The Schauburg Foundation has awarded the best trainees of the class of 2024 with a coveted sponsorship award in Mülheim. Nine outstanding graduates from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry for Essen, Mülheim and Oberhausen were delighted with this honor!

The award ceremony, which took place for the 35th time, is an integral part of Mülheim's tradition. The best of the best have been honored here since 1990, and this year the award winners shone with exceptional achievements in their respective training professions. The Schauburg Foundation is committed to promoting young talent and supporting social and cultural projects. The festive ceremony took place in the foundation's elegant rooms, where the training managers were also invited to celebrate the successes of their protégés.

The shining award winners

Among the awarded talents are Felix Woltering (electronics engineer for machines and drive technology at Siemens Energy), Patrick Espelage and David Golus (industrial mechanics, both Siemens Energy), as well as Viktoria Grace Lattke, Caroline Spiekenheuer and Carola Schönlau (office management clerks, two at Aldi Süd and one at Wellhöner Immobilienmanagement). Simone Behr and Jette Sophie Thomanek (technical system planners) and Jan Lennart Korte (technical product designer) were also honored for their outstanding achievements.

Florian G. Schauburg, who presented the prizes, emphasized the importance of well-trained specialists: “With this prize we recognize the extraordinary achievements of these young people, because well-trained people are an important anchor in our society.” Mülheim's mayor Markus Püll and other prominent representatives of the IHK also warmly congratulated the award winners and acknowledged their commitment and talent.
