Citizen's benefit recipient from Rostock: Gambling despite money problems!
The citizen benefit recipients Jasmin and Maik from Rostock are in the public eye again! In the RTL2 documentary “Hartz und Herzlich” they provide insights into their lives and show how they cope with their son Lennox in the midst of financial difficulties. But the reality is bleak: Both have never worked properly and are completely dependent on the services of the job center. They spend their free time in front of consoles, which further strains their already strained finances.
In the latest episodes of the documentary, it becomes clear that Jasmin, who is only 20 years old, has lost control of her finances. Bills are piling up and she is desperately trying to keep track of the debited payments. RTL2 has published an excerpt on YouTube that shows the two gamblers' dramatic money problems. Not only have they taken out numerous paid subscriptions for their game consoles, but they also have to pay back 3,600 euros to the job center. Despite this financial burden, they don't want to give up their expensive hobbies!
