On January 9, 2025, a serious traffic accident occurred on the BAB 20, in the direction of Stettin between Neubrandenburg East and Friedland. Around 7:15 p.m., a 60-year-old German driver of a semitrailer (Man) overtook a car that was controlled by a 51-year-old German driver (BMW).
