Juri Tetzlaff, the youthful moderator of the popular “Baumhaus” children's program, is back in Neubrandenburg! The Kika star, who still looks fresh and dynamic despite his 52 years, has a secret: he burns for his work. "I am doing what I do with enthusiasm," reveals Tetzlaff, who will conquer the stage of the Neubrandenburg concert church on November 14 with a family concert. The program includes excerpts from Tchaikovsky's "Nusscracker", a classic that already provided enthusiasm in this modern concert hall at Tetzlaff's premiere in 2015.

But that's not all! The evening is crowned with another highlight: Tetzlaff also moderates the evening concert, in which the first symphony by Lutz Schumacher is performed in addition to the "Nutcracker". Schumacher, a true "music crazy", is not only managing director of the SV media group, but also a passionate conductor and composer. His symphony, inspired by the love of nature and the forest, promises a romantic, traditional sound experience that will enchant the audience.

The young dancers of the Dance Department of Neubrandenburg will enrich the family concert with their interpretations of the "nutcracker". Despite the short rehearsal period in the morning before the concert, they are well prepared, as Tetzlaff praised. Together with the trainer Kristin Rennack, he coordinated moderation texts and choreographies to create an unforgettable experience for the whole family.

For Tetzlaff, the classic experience for children is a matter close to the heart. He would like to show the young listeners that music not only comes from the radio or smartphone, but is also played live by an orchestra with around 50 musicians. "It's really something unique!"
