Vorpommern-Greifswald, Deutschland - In Vorpommern-Greifswald, the bird counters are on the road! On behalf of the State Office for Agriculture and the Environment (Stalu), the resting bird species are counted in order to record their stock in agricultural areas. This important campaign runs until mid -January 2025 and requires precise inspections to view the birds. Equipped with binoculars and spots, the counters set out to watch the feathered guests.

The stalu asks all area owners, tenants and users for support. Access to the areas is crucial for the success of this count!
