Life support in Eichstätt: Understanding grief and farewell in a new way!

Eichstätt. Death – a topic that many prefer to avoid. But the Catholic German Women's Association (KDFB) in the diocese of Eichstätt is taking on this challenge! On Monday 25th November at 7.30pm there will be a riveting talk entitled 'When Death Enters Life' at Gungolding Catholic Parish Hall. This is all about farewell and funerals - a must for anyone who wants to find out more about these important topics!

Insight into the burial culture

The speaker Mariele Hasselmeier, an experienced volunteer grief counselor and employee of a funeral home, will introduce the participants to the different types of funerals. She sheds light on funeral arrangements and explains the change in funeral culture. This evening is not only informative, but also offers the opportunity to ask personal questions and exchange ideas.

Participation is free for KDFB members, while non-members have to pay a fee of 7 euros. Anyone interested can register at the KDFB office on Tel. (08421) 50-673 or by email to info(at)frauenbund-eichstaett(dot)de. Take the opportunity to deal with an often taboo topic and obtain valuable information!
