Young kickers from Waldstetten collect record donations for needy children!
In an impressive act of solidarity, the young players of TSGV Waldstetten collected over 400 euros as part of their support training to help children in need. This initiative, which has the motto “Promoting children - helping children”, was founded in 2011 and aims to do good and at the same time put smiles on the faces of those around us. The money collected will specifically benefit three children: Matteo, Anna and Moritz, who will each receive 1,000 euros to support their specific needs, such as dolphin therapy or therapeutic measures that are not covered by health insurance, reported schwaebische.de.
Leading figures such as the mayor of Waldstetten, Michael Rembold, support this noble campaign and describe the young kickers as “shining stars” of the community. Rainer Uhl, the initiator of the project, was pleased about the support from sponsors and individual donors, who made it possible to raise an impressive total of 3,000 euros. Uhl plans to further increase the funds raised through a raffle at the Stuifen Cup in January, indicating the community's great solidarity and commitment.
Fundraising campaign in Carinthia
In parallel to the activities in Waldstetten, the Lower Carinthian Hockey League also shows great commitment to a good cause. The league is committed to collecting donations for the Carinthian Children's Cancer Aid as part of its annual Movember campaign. Last year, 2,700 euros were raised through the sale of polo shirts and other donations, which underlines the increasing popularity and expansion of the campaign uhlhockey.at reported. With the support of various teams and sponsors, sales and direct donations continue to raise important funds to optimize the care of children with cancer. The focus here is on improving medical care and supporting the social circumstances of the affected families.
