In a remarkable gesture of solidarity, 84-year-old Wilfried Homuth from Hofgeismar decided to donate his entire savings for charitable purposes. "I have now arrived at the end of my life and want to do something good with my money," said Homuth, who has already donated 65,000 euros to different organizations. Among the beneficiaries is the table in Hofgeismar, which urgently needs support. "We finance part of the repair costs at the table bus from last year," said Tafel coordinator Frauke Wiegand.
