A man stole a donation box from “Aktion Advent” in downtown Kassel while being filmed by a surveillance camera. The incident occurred at a store on Friday, December 13, at 4:40 p.m. The thief, who is between 20 and 25 years old and around 1.80 meters tall, wore a black cap and a black jacket and spoke German with a slight accent. The business owners filed a police report because the donations collected are intended to benefit needy families. Editor-in-chief Axel Grysczyk expressed outrage at the theft and described it as morally reprehensible, especially at Christmas time.
