ROTENBURG/F. – A spectacular construction project is taking shape! The breathtaking suspension bridge over the Kottenbachtal in Rotenburg is about to open - at the beginning of December! The final touches are currently being made as the anticipation for the event increases immeasurably. Felix Stuhldreher, managing director of “Highwalk Rotenburg”, reveals that everything is going according to plan and the construction work is on the home stretch.

“The entire structure was a challenge, but with our architect Uno Kleine from Kleine + Potthoff Architects we overcame every hurdle,” emphasizes Stuhldreher. Visitors can look forward to a unique experience that shines not only in summer temperatures. "The bridge is a year-round attraction. Every season has its special advantages," he adds. People's curiosity is growing and questions about the opening date are increasing. Stuhldreher has received nothing but positive feedback and feels the excitement among the population.

Almost ready for opening

The construction work has made enormous progress since it began. “It’s much more impressive when you see the bridge hanging over the valley,” says Stuhldreher enthusiastically. But what’s next? The guy ropes need to be attached, the final railing installed and some technical installations made. In addition, the construction of the entrance areas is being prepared. “Then nothing should stand in the way of the opening,” concludes the managing director optimistically. The suspension bridge promises to be a truly spectacular highlight for Rotenburg!
