Heider SV gives away points in the title race against PSV Neumünster
A thrilling duel in the HSV stadium on Meldorfer Straße ended with a fair division of points: Heider SV and PSV Neumünster drew 1-1 in front of 519 enthusiastic spectators. The Dithmarschers, who fought on the difficult pitch, took the lead in the 55th minute through goal scorer Mika Kieselbach. But the celebration didn't last long as Grady Zinkondo equalized just seven minutes later and then became a tragic hero when he was shown a red card after repeated foul play.
Tension until the last minute
The game was characterized by intense duels and exciting moments. PSV, despite numerous failures, appeared stable and dangerous. Niels Drauschke in particular put a lot of pressure on the Heider defense. The first big chance for the guests didn't take long to arrive when Timo Barendt hit the inside post. Heider SV only found its way into the game after a weak first half and was finally able to take the lead through Kieselbach. But Zinkondo's equalizer came like a bolt from the blue.
After Zinkondo was sent off, the Dithmarschers pushed for victory, but the guests defended themselves cleverly. Heider SV had several chances, including a header from Marvin Wolf that just missed the goal. Despite all efforts, the score remained 1:1, which cost the Dithmarscher important points in the title race. Coach Markus Wichmann now has to look at three away games before the winter break, while PSV will play against Oldenburger SV next Saturday.
