oak earth.A spectacular event is about to happen! On December 7th, the glittering tractor convoy of farmers from Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg sets off from Eichede towards the University Hospital of Hamburg. And that's not all: On December 14th we're heading to the UKSH in Lübeck! This colorful parade, which has been reaching the children's wards of the hospitals since 2020, attracts thousands of spectators every year who cheer on the festively decorated and illuminated tractors.
This year there is an exciting innovation: The organizers of the “We will make you shine” (WBEZS) campaign are calling on all creative children and young people between the ages of three and 16 to take part in a painting competition! The artwork will transform the walls of the children's wards into a living tractor parade. “The pictures submitted will be numbered and our lucky elf will draw the names of three lucky winners who will be invited with their families to our ‘warm-up’ on December 6th,” explains Stephanie Ehling full of anticipation.
Draw a tractor!
Participation is child's play! Simply draw a tractor on a DIN A4 sheet of landscape format and send it to WBEZS – Ehling, Rundling 11 in 23847 Pölitz by November 28th. The first name and age of the little artist should be on the back. If you would like to take part in the raffle, please enclose a piece of paper with your name and telephone number. It's so easy to become part of this great campaign!
This happens during the warm-up of the tractor parade
The winners of the warm-up on December 6th can look forward to an unforgettable evening! Here all the drivers come together to check the decorations, decide on the order of the tractors and discuss the exact route. Stephanie Ehling promises exciting insights and the opportunity to chat with the farmers. And best of all: the winners even get to take a ride on a tractor of their choice!
