Brilliant honors at TSV Dagersheim: 73 members honored!
The TSV Dagersheim honor day was a special event that celebrated numerous members for their many years of loyalty and sporting success. A total of 73 people were honored, including Roland Frey, who was honored for his impressive 70 years of membership. This traditional event took place in the Waldstadion, where a large number of athletes and committed volunteers came together.
TSV President Arthur Bamberger opened the celebrations and described the value that the club community has for Dagersheim. Mayor Hendrick Queck and the Böblingen sports department manager Anja Beck also recognized the members' commitment. Böblingen's first mayor, Tobias Heizmann, particularly emphasized the importance of the stadium facility, which is maintained by the active members.
The indoor swimming pool in Dagersheim – a problem child
A big topic that was repeatedly addressed during the event was the future of the indoor swimming pool in Dagersheim. There are disagreements between the neighboring towns of Böblingen and Sindelfingen, which are grouped around the Rappenbaum association. The need for renovation is urgent: “The goal must be to be able to learn to swim in Dagersheim,” it was clearly emphasized.
In addition to the honors, there were also special occasions to celebrate. The club's ski department celebrated its 50th anniversary. Ralph Adensam from the Swabian Ski Association presented department head Markus Münsinger with an honorary gift and praised the department's exemplary work. The swimming department also plans to host an anniversary evening next month.
The event also honored voluntary work: Among those honored were Jens Häcker and Dieter Kustos, who received the bronze badge of merit, and Petra Widmaier and Ioannis Kirizoglou, who were awarded the silver badge of merit. Ellen Kappel was honored with the gold badge for her special commitment to tennis. Wolfgang Spiess was made an honorary member, recognizing his many years of service in the football department.
There were also sporting awards: the women's 40 and men's 50 tennis divisions were honored with the bronze performance medal for their championship in the 2024 summer round. The U18 tennis juniors were also recognized for their successes, and the second TSV soccer team received an award for the championship title in the district league B. The senior team in the fistball department celebrated their first place in the 2023/24 indoor season and is now playing in the district league.
The event was therefore not only a celebration of success, but also a platform for discussion about the challenges that are currently affecting the community. For further interesting insights into this topic, click here www.krzbb.de be referred.
