Europa-Park opens Silver Lake City” – free and full of adventure!

On May 30, 2025, Europa-Park in Rust opened the new “Silver Lake City” themed world. This expansion represents a significant step in park manager Roland Mack's renovation plan. The approximately ten hectare area, which was previously used as a camp resort, now offers numerous new opportunities for visitors.

What is particularly noteworthy is that access to the new themed world is free because it is located outside the actual theme park. This allows guests to enjoy the various attractions without paying an entrance fee. The “Silver Lake City” includes 68 caravan sites and 36 western-style cabins that can accommodate four to six people. The capacities of the new facility are designed so that around 2,000 guests can stay overnight once it is completed.

Attractions and events

The themed world also includes an adventure playground, a swimming lake and a 650 square meter mini golf course. On weekends and during holidays, visitors can look forward to live music and exciting western shows. These events are intended to further enrich the experience in the new themed world.

Another highlight planned for the future is the “Riverside Western Lodge” hotel, which is scheduled to open next year and will offer 120 rooms. The plans also include our own brewery, which will expand the local offerings. Further future developments include the creation of a Monaco themed area and a revamp of the Russian themed area at Europa-Park, with speculation surrounding the Euro-Mir roller coaster.

Popularity and sales in the theme park segment

Europa-Park is not only the most popular theme park in Germany with around 5.4 million visitors annually, it also ranks third among the most visited theme parks in Europe, behind Disneyland Paris and De Efteling.
