Discover the magical legends of the Haßberge district!

In the magical Haßberge, graphic designer Clarissa van Amseln has published a remarkable book that brings together the region's most fascinating legends. Under the title “The Treasure of Legends of the Haßberge District”, the work brings together 54 stories that go back to a rich collection by Max Breitwieser from Hofheim. The over 80-year-old has collected more than 600 legends over the course of his life and has now passed these treasures on to van Amseln. She is not only responsible for selecting the stories, but also vividly illustrated them with the help of artificial intelligence. The book consists of 146 pages and offers a colorful presentation that will captivate both children and adults Mainpost reported.

A treasure of stories

Van Amseln is convinced that the sagas are not only exciting for children, but also appeal to adults, as many stories contain historical events that are enriched by the 'wonderful'. These stories aim to encourage readers to discover their homeland more intensively and to visit places with legendary connections. Particular attention is often paid to the breathtaking panoramas of the Haßberg region, where stories about castles, knights and hidden treasures come to life. An example is the legend about deer with Christmas candles, which is told on Christmas Eve Readfy describes.

The collection is not only episodic, but also elaborately designed, which makes it particularly suitable for reading aloud - ideal for little adventure seekers from third grade onwards and for adults interested in regional history. The book is available via the self-publishing platform BoD and incorporates exciting elements of various legends, which are often set at historical sites. Van Amseln appeals to readers' curiosity to explore local mythologies and experience the beauty of the Haßbergen up close on discovery tours.
