A storm of indignation is sweeping through Schleswig-Holstein! IG Metall Coast has called for massive warning strikes in the metal and electrical industries on Thursday. Employees in companies are being asked to stop working in order to increase the pressure on employers for higher wages. Numerous rallies and actions are taking place in cities such as Kiel, Neumünster and the districts of Rendsburg-Eckernförde and Plön. The so-called “Coastal Action Day” is intended to send a clear signal!

The union is mobilizing the masses! A large rally is expected in front of the medical technology company Stryker Trauma in Schönkirchen. The mood will also be heated in Kiel, where there will be demonstrations in front of the IT giant Thales, and in Flintbek in front of the Hagenuk Marine Kommunikation factory. In Schacht-Audorf, the protesters gather in front of the Lürssen-Kröger shipyard. The Nordmetall employers' association is sounding the alarm: Since the end of October, over 36,000 working hours have been lost due to the warning strikes!
