Magical fairytale hours: The Bremen Town Musicians in the Zimmertheater Rottweil!
This year, the Zimmertheater Rottweil is bringing the popular children's play “The Bremen Town Musicians” to the stage! The premiere will be celebrated for the whole family on Sunday, December 1st at 4 p.m. The performance is aimed at audiences aged four to 100 and takes place in the Zimmertheater Rottweil, Friedrichsplatz 2.
The story begins with an old donkey who, after many loyal years, is about to be sold because he can no longer do it. But the donkey has other plans! He runs away to become a town musician in Bremen. On his journey he meets an old dog, a cat and a rooster who are also looking for a better life. With the famous saying: “… you will find something better than death everywhere,” the donkey motivates his new friends to accompany him to Bremen.
An adventure full of surprises
The animals come across a den of thieves, which they overcome with their courage and talents. They drive away the robbers and find a new home that they no longer want to leave. This production conveys an optimistic message: solutions can be found even in difficult situations! The performance is made particularly exciting by the participation of two trained clowns, who will provide additional circus numbers and delight the audience.
The further performances are on December 8th, December 15th (already at 11 a.m.), December 26th, December 29th and for the last time on New Year's Eve, December 31st, at 4 p.m. Tickets are available for 8 euros for children and 12 euros for adults. Schools can book performances Monday to Friday between December 2nd and 20th, 2024, which will take place at 9am and 11am. 58 schools and kindergartens have already registered for a total of 30 planned performances!
