New training leader PM: The best chances right on your doorstep!

In a remarkable event, Dr. Christoph Löwer, the deputy of the Potsdam-Mittelmark district, presented the 15th edition of the training leader for the region on October 16. This publication, which was created in cooperation with the School & Wirtschaftsforum PM network, is primarily aimed at pupils and their parents to find out more about regional training and study opportunities. The training leader is an important tool that is intended to help young people to actively shape their professional future and to find out more about the opportunities in their area.

In the current issue, 202 companies, universities and institutions from Potsdam-Mittelmark present themselves. A total of more than 3,500 training and study places in 269 different professional fields are offered. This diversity illustrates the great possibilities that young people in the region are open, from classic craft professions to dual courses in various disciplines.

A particularly gratifying feature of the training leader is the variety of internships and holiday jobs that are offered by the participating companies. This enables the students to gain initial insights into different professional fields and gain practical experience. Mandy Great from the School & Economic Forum PM network emphasized that practical experiences are often crucial when it comes to finding the right job.

The training leader aims to clarify students and their parents about the numerous career opportunities in Potsdam-Mittelmark. Those responsible want to make sure that the young people understand how many options there are right on their doorstep. "The promotion of regional training and study opportunities contributes to the economic development in Potsdam-Mittelmark," emphasized Dr. Löwer and added that companies benefit from the settlement of talented young people from the neighborhood.

The 15th edition of the training leader is printed in a circulation of 4,000 copies and distributed to all secondary schools in the region after the autumn holidays.
