Attention drivers! Mobile speed cameras on the A13 – Speed cameras are used here!

Watch out, drivers! On Monday, November 18, 2024, mobile speed traps will be ready on the A13 motorway to catch speeders. A mobile radar box is currently in use in the Calau region, exactly at Groß Jehser in the Oberspreewald-Lausitz district. There is lightning here in a 120 km/h zone and has been going on since 11:36 a.m. Be warned, because the danger situation on the A13 can change in a flash!

Where is there lightning?

Police have increased speed control and motorists should prepare for possible changes in locations. Mobile speed monitoring is an important tool for road safety. Stick to the prescribed maximum speed to avoid falling into the cost trap!

A speed camera photo can be expensive! In Germany, the road traffic regulations (StVO) regulate the punishment for speeding. The penalties are set out in the catalog of fines and can be significant depending on the violation. At speeds below 100 km/h, 3 km/h is usually deducted from the reading, while at higher speeds 3 percent is deducted. So be careful, because mobile flash units are just as precise as their stationary counterparts!

The A13, part of European Route 55, stretches over 151 kilometers from Berlin to Dresden and is an important transport route. Use this highway wisely, as mobile speed monitoring is only part of the measures taken to ensure your safety and the safety of other road users. Stay alert and drive responsibly!
